This Privacy Policy describes how Amor Chef Services LLC (doing business as AmorCooking; “AmorCooking,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit amorcooking.com and related pages (the “Site”), communicate with us, or use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

1) Information We Collect
a) Information you provide directly
- Contact & identity data: name, email, phone, address, event details, dietary needs/restrictions, messages.
- Booking & payment details: event dates, guest counts, menus, invoices, and payment confirmations. (Payment card data is processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.)
- Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-ins/opt-outs, survey responses, reviews, testimonials.
b) Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, general location (city/region), and interactions with the Site.
- Cookies & similar tech: pixels, tags, local storage to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze performance, and measure/serve ads. See “Cookies & Tracking” below.
c) Information from third parties
- Analytics & advertising partners (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) provide aggregated insights about Site traffic and ad performance.
- Scheduling/forms & CRM tools (Zoho Forms) collect responses you submit.
- Payment processors (Quickbooks) share payment confirmations.
- Email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo) manage subscriptions and campaign metrics. Specific partners may change; see Section 5.
2) How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide Services: respond to inquiries, plan/coordinate events, manage bookings, process payments, deliver confirmations, and provide customer support.
- Personalize & improve: tailor menus and proposals; improve Site performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Marketing & communications: send service messages (booking updates, invoices) and—with your consent where required—newsletters, offers, or event highlights. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- Security & compliance: prevent fraud, secure the Site, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Legal bases (EU/UK): performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., site security, basic analytics, business operations), consent (where required), and legal obligations.

- Strictly necessary cookies to operate core features (security, forms).
- Functional cookies to remember preferences.
- Analytics cookies to understand usage (e.g., Google Analytics 4).
- Advertising/retargeting cookies to measure campaigns and show relevant ads (e.g., via Meta or Google).

- Service providers/Processors that help us operate (hosting/CDN, analytics, email, forms/scheduling, payments, support). They are bound to use data only on our instructions.
- Advertising & analytics partners to measure performance and (where applicable) deliver interest-based ads.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
- Legal & safety when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain adtech activities may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws; see Section 8 for opt-out rights.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including:
- contractual and legal requirements,
- accounting/tax obligations, and

resolving disputes.
Typical retention periods for inquiry/booking records are up to 36 months after last interaction, unless longer is needed for legal or operational reasons.

- Email marketing: You can unsubscribe via the link in our emails.
- Browser controls: Block/clear cookies and tracking as desired.
- Access/Correction/Deletion: Email [[email protected]] to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data (subject to lawful exceptions).
- Objection/Restriction (EU/UK): You may object to processing based on legitimate interests or request restriction where applicable.
- Data portability (EU/UK): Request a machine-readable copy of certain data you provided.
- Withdraw consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

“Sale”/“Share” and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers and internet/usage data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted ads). You can opt out of “sale/share” (and targeted advertising) by contacting us at [[email protected]] or using a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the Site footer (if available).
California rights (CPRA)
California residents may request: access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of sale/share; and to limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive PI for inferring characteristics). We will not discriminate for exercising these rights. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK without parental consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the U.S. and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection.
